Urban Overload

Today I went for a quick spin through Nutley, Lyndhurst, Rutherford and
North Arlington. Along River road, park avenue and back on River. 20.07
miles at an average speed of 16.63. A flat ride so that is why the speed is
up, but I am feeling faster, so I'm probably getting slightly faster. I just
wanted a short relatively brisk paced ride today, because on Friday I'm
planning a Metric Century with MAF. Hopefully, now that I live in a flat area
I can work on my speed and interval riding, in an effort to get faster and
stronger. We'll see. By the way, the traffic is fucking horrendous here in
Passaic/Essex and Bergen Counties. I spent more time dodging potholes,
and cars than I did concetrating on cadence and sprinting. Fuck all....as
the mighty Scots would say...Aye...Fuck All.
